Dear guests!

I welcome all athletes and athletics friends. I am sincerely happy that the 1st World Deaf Indoor Athletics Championships will take place here in Tallinn. It is a great honour to the city. Every international sports event that takes place in Tallinn helps the city become known as a city of sports around the world.

It is a pleasure to say that there are more and more big competitions taking place in Tallinn. We have always supported sports, because through supporting sports we become more sportful ourselves. Big competitions taking place in Tallinn also increase the popularity of sport, as well as awareness of different sports.

It is said that sport never becomes easier- the athletes just become stronger. Gold medals that athletes strive towards do not consist of gold, but are made of sweat, consistency, decisiveness and determined effort. To success, you must have a strong psychological background in addition to a strong physique. Recognition is just not medals, it is making a strong performance and giving it your best.

Dear athletes, we wish you a successful competition and spirited experiences. If you exceed yourself, you can count yourself as a winner. In addition, we hope that you will have time to check out our beautiful city and we hope you come back soon!

Competition Venue
The 1st WDIAC 2019 competitions will be held at the Lasnamäe Athletics Hall
Address: Punane Str 45, Tallinn


Lunch
All teams is responsible by itself for lunch on the time competitions.
At Lasnamäe Athletics Hall is possibility have a lunch at Sport Café (price 5-10 EUR). In the neighborhood of Lasnamäe Athletics Hall is restaurant Kichen Rõõm and some fastfood places.


Accommodation
On time WDIAC 2019 will be all team accommodated to

Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia (Liivalaia Str 33)
Park Inn by Radisson Central Tallinn (Narva Str 7c)
Hestia Hotel Susi (Peterburi Str 48)
Oru Hotel (Narva Str 120)

The hotel offers single and twin/double rooms with breakfast and dinner. All rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, work desk and private bathroom, as well as free Wi-Fi.


Transfer and transport
WDIAC 2019 OC provides the transfer Tallinn Airport - Hotel - Tallinn Airport, Port of Tallinn - Hotel- Port of Tallinn. (All arrival and departure dates and times should be sent to WDIAC 2019 OC).

WDIAC 2019 ensure transport on official training times and competition dates from Hotel - Lasnamäe Athletics Hall - Hotel.

All transport plans will be find on WDIAC 2019 official homepage and on https://app.sportity.com/. All accredited athletes and officials have right drive free in Tallinn Public Transport. (Necessary accreditation ID).
